What is a "bumper pad"?

A bumper pad is a cushioned padding that lines the inside of a baby's crib. It is designed to create a soft barrier between the baby and the crib's hard surfaces, such as the rails. Bumper pads are typically made from padded fabric and attach securely to the crib to provide a cozy and protective environment for the baby during sleep.
